1. Who we are

Unequal Climate is a youth-led, non-commercial climate justice platform. This policy explains what little data touches your device when you visit, and what we do — and do not do — with it. If anything here is unclear, write to us at support@unequalclimate.com.

2. What we collect

We designed this site to need almost nothing from you:

• No accounts. There is no registration, login, or profile of any kind.
• Language preference. If you switch between EN and 中文, that choice is stored in your own browser’s local storage (key: uc-lang). It never leaves your device.
• Email you choose to send. Our contact form simply opens your own mail application. We receive your name, email address and message only if you press send yourself.

3. What we don’t do

• No analytics or visitor statistics.
• No advertising, and no tracking pixels.
• No selling, renting or sharing of personal data with anyone.

4. Third-party services

Our pages load a few resources from external providers. When your browser fetches them, those providers may process standard technical data (such as your IP address), under their own privacy policies:

• Google Fonts — the typefaces used on this site.
• jsDelivr / unpkg / cdnjs — the three.js library that renders the interactive globe.
• Vercel — website hosting, which keeps standard server logs.
• The Unity WebGL simulation runs entirely inside your browser; nothing you do in it is uploaded anywhere.

5. How long we keep things

If you email us, we keep the conversation only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. The language preference in your browser stays on your device until you clear it yourself.

6. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete any personal data you have sent us — just email support@unequalclimate.com. You can also clear the stored language preference at any time through your browser settings.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be noted plainly at the top.
